What should you know before purchasing?

If, during the one-year subscription period, the Licensee implements a new version of SOLIDWORKS® in their company, e.g. SOLIDWORKS® 2026, they are entitled to download a free update, which will allow the use of the macro package with the new SOLIDWORKS® 2026 version until the end of the subscription period.

The Licensee holding a valid update service for the program has the ability to use the latest version of the purchased licenses for macros/add-ins. Updates are not automatic. After reviewing the new features, the Licensee decides whether to proceed with the update and submits the update request via email to their reseller. To receive an update, the customer is required to send their individual configuration/settings files from the installation folder.

  • The MacroSolid license is not a network license and is not a "floating license". This is a PC-bound license.
  • Using the software requires the Licensee to provide the Licensor with the computer ID on which the license will be installed. Use is permitted only on the computer whose ID has been submitted to the Licensor.
  • The license may be transferred free of charge to another computer only once during the one-year subscription period. Any additional transfers are subject to a fee (charged per license transferred), as specified in the Licensor’s price list for the given calendar year.
  • Each version of the Software used by the Licensee and/or any other User prior to full payment of the purchase document is considered a Demo/Trial version. Only after full payment of the purchase document does the Demo/Trial version convert into a commercial or educational version.

NOTE:
The subscription offered here is not the same as a SOLIDWORKS® subscription. This subscription does not include training, technical support, or assistance via phone or remote access regarding product features, commands, software operation, or configuration.

The subscription primarily provides the ability to update the software. Additionally, as part of the subscription, the Licensee has the option to report errors directly related to the operation of the Software. These include errors that disrupt the proper functioning of the Software and originate in the MacroSolid source code. ONLY such errors are corrected by the Licensor.

Errors caused by the SOLIDWORKS® program itself, which may affect the proper functioning of the MacroSolid Software, will not be corrected or verified by the Licensor, as this falls outside its licensing rights.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it., providing a detailed description of the identified error. If necessary, the Licensee should also include any required files to support the error report.

At the moment, we do not yet offer online purchasing ;) Send your order to our email address, providing the necessary information for issuing a PROFORMA invoice, which will be used for payment. We need your company name, address, and VAT identification number. Also include the selected package and the number of licenses. Once the payment is credited to our account, we will send you a VAT invoice and the final time-limited version of the ordered software. After installation, we will carry out the license activation procedure.
